On a dense, lush ridge lays Mountain Laurel ~ a beautiful, darkly-stained log home with a hunter-green tin roof. Leading to the wrap-around deck on the lower level of the cabin is a finely-crafted, wooden walkway.
Once inside, guests will notice the openness of the central room, and the loft that hovers above it. With hardwood floors and all the luxuries of home, the den and kitchen combination (central room) work together magnificently to offer comfort to visitors.
Adjacent to this vast room is the master bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom is open as well, allowing as much room as needed while owning a comfortable queen-sized bed. The loft-level contains two beds as well, and a wonderful view of the ridge descending into a sylvan body of water. On the opposite side of the wrap-around deck, guests will discover a beautiful, serene path through the forest--leading to their private pond.
In addition to this secluded hideaway, perhaps you would like to bring your beloved horses. Mountain Laurel is just a couple hundred yards from our 8 stall community barn. This log home sleeps 6 comfortably, and your horses will be safe, secure, and ready to ride the trails of the Big South Fork!
With such amenities as these, guests will certainly find it most difficult not to enjoy the imminent adventures of the bordering Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area!
