The Hickock

Nestled neatly along the edge of the forest lays the rustic Hickock Cabin, adorned with a moderately-dark wooden finish and a hunter-green tin roof.  As one approaches the site, he or she will be led by a beautiful stone path, surrounded by a sea of lush vegetation, to the wrap-around porch.  Once inside, the visitor will savor the old-western personality of the interior.  The first level is fitted with elegantly finished wooden sidings and hardwood floors, while providing all the comforts of home—including a fully furnished den and completely functional kitchen.  Through the cozy, rustic hall lays a bedroom with necessary, everyday amenities and its own restroom.  The second level is reached by a refined iron-bound spiral staircase, with a dark-finish décor.  Arriving upstairs, a bedroom-loft is found with hand-crafted furniture of its own, and a bordering restroom.  Adjacent to the loft is the master bedroom, also with hand-crafted furniture, commodious and comfortable to be certain.  Nearby this rustic retreat, one will even notice a private horse-pin and barn!  As a visitor, you may enjoy all of these easeful comforts and more--all the while bordering both the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and the Daniel Boone National Forest.
